I’ve been asked numerous times by business owners whether I can code and build them a new app to do some specific task.  I’m a big believer in not;

I’ve purchased numerous lifetime deals from Appsumo and this has saved me and my clients lots of money on software tools that would normally require monthly subscription fees.  I’d much rather pay a one-off fee that monthly forever.

Some of the tools are in the early stages of development and having early adopters pay one-off fee’s enables the developers to learn from the initial users and build apps and tools that people really want.  Sure, you take a bit of risk by buying these apps/tools from start-ups but you’re also benefitting as you’re often able to give the devs feedback and suggest improvements and features you’d like to added.
