Dean Holland’s Quick Start Challenge Review
Just over one month ago now (that went quick!) I signed up to an online course called Dean Holland’s Quick Start Challenge which I purchased through a web site called The Warrior Forum (http://www.warriorforum.com). The course is all about creating an income from marketing products and services online via web sites and email. The products can either be yours or those of others.
Dean Holland is a down to earth guy from the UK who has had great success in the internet marketing industry.
The course is run over a 4 week period, with Dean presenting a webinar each week. In the past I’ve always found it difficult to attend webinars because of when they have been scheduled. The webinars have been running at 10pm GMT every Wednesday, a little late if you’ve been at work all day, but still doable for me. The webinars are in the format of a Powerpoint type presentation with Dean talking over the top of the slides.
The course is ideal for those just starting out and is very newbie friendly. Dean has a nice relaxed presentation style. A lot of emphasis is put on the importance of taking action. Each week Dean gives us tasks to complete. This really helps to motivate everyone and he also injects a bit of competitiveness into the group by offering prizes for completing the tasks. The main focus of the course is on creating a blog and building a relationship up with your audience. The course covers traffic generation, building a list of subscriber and how to make an income from your audience.
For me the course is a little too basic, however what it has done for me is to reinforce my knowledge and refocused my thoughts on what I should be concentrating on. I’m not sure I have learnt anything new from the course, but then I’ve been around internet marketing for many year now. Despite this I’ve enjoyed the course and it has definitely benefited me. The course has been motivating, something that I needed badly and it really helps you to take action. Another benefit is it helps you to network and build partnerships with like minded people, so overall, for the price I would definitely recommend Dean Holland’s Quick Start Challenge.
